5 Easy Poses To Make You Look Amazing on Your Wedding Day

I get a lot of feedback from couples before I work with them on how they are shy in front of the camera or don't know how to pose. What makes us professionals is our experience and knowledge of posing, composition and lighting.

I guide my couples through a a series of poses and I give them prompts so they don't have to worry about how they look. I will never leave you hanging out to dry when it comes to posing.

I want to make sure you look your most amazing self on your wedding day which is why I will pose you in certain positions.

Here are a few different poses that will make you look amazing for your wedding portraits...

1. Forehead to Forehead

One of my favorite poses and I personally think it creates a romantic photograph whether it's close up or a far-away scenic shot. I love having my couples posed close together and place them forehead to forehead. I'll have couples either holding hands, the bouquet or have their arms wrapped around one-another.

2. The Ring Pose

I will usually pose the woman so her her left hand on display on her fiancé's chest or upper arm to show off that BLING! We create more romantic poses by wrapping arms around each other or stepping into one another to close the "gap" between each other.

3. The Pick Me Up

This is a super romantic and fun pose. I always make sure that if the groom is picking up the bride with his arms around her waist supporting her, or around her waist. We want to make sure the brides arms aren't hiding the groom's face, so I'll ensure that it's perfectly positioned.

**I always tell the ladies when being lifted up - POINT THOSE TOES! It makes your legs more elongating and creates a more feminine instead of having flat feet.

4. The Whisper in The Ear

This one always gets the couple laughing. This pose is a smile-inducing pose that always gives an awesome expression. It focuses more on the bride's expression and I do this by telling the groom to whisper sweet words into her ear.

5. The Scenic Kiss

These are your magazine worthy shots! We want to capture the beauty of the background or scenery and put you at the forefront of the photo. We always find the best scenic spots to capture these beautiful kissing shot.
